Pinterest Making Changes
Pinterest recently posted a blog about some changes they are making to better serve the end-user. This process began by doing some customer research and testing the changes with a small group of pincers. (Something businesses should be doing). Pinterest now has a new discovery feature which includes a close up view of a pin along with some other changes, which you can read all about here, "Our New Look: More Ways to Discover What You Love."
Good 'ol Pinterest wanted to keep a simple foundation, so here are the two things I wanted to highlight for you, and why:
1) "We wanted to make things simpler and cleaner, without requiring you to learn anything new." …
A simpler time for the web is coming so that the user experience will be much more simple and more friendly. A less complicated website equates to an increase in customer engagement. A keep it simple solution is here for you through TheMarketingMinds.com, by a team of Pros backing your every move.
2) "Finally, we rebuilt the foundation on which the website is built. This makes Pinterest more reliable for you and easier to improve for us." …
Most businesses lack a solid foundation on the web! They are scattered all over the place. We desire to provide a foundation businesses can rely on with experts at the ready. One that integrates deeply with the services they are currently using and will ultimately save them money in the long term. When you have a solid foundation things can flow smoother and be much simpler for the end-user experience.
